ANTELOPE – One person has died and another is in the hospital after a house fire in Antelope. Metro Fire of Sacramento officials say three people were home at the time the fire broke out a little before 12:30 a.m. Tuesday on Tartan Drive – a son, a mother, and a stepfather.

A second person has died following an overnight house fire in Antelope earlier this week, the Sacramento County Coroner's Office said. Fire crews were dispatched around 12:23 a.m. Tuesday to a property on Tartan Drive north of U Street.

Fire crews found one person dead inside the home. Another person, an unidentified woman, was injured and taken to the hospital. Family confirmed to ABC10 Wednesday the woman, who they identified as 79-year-old Shirley Wolf, died from her injuries at the hospital. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
