The designation recognizes schools which excel in academic performance or make significant strides in closing achievement gaps.

The recognition identifies Glenwood as an Exemplary High Performing School for being among Tennessee’s top schools as measured by state assessments or nationally normed tests, according to an Oak Ridge Schools news release.
