Matt Boldy is week to week for the Wild because of a lower-body injury. The 23-year-old forward did not practice Monday. He had an NHL career-high 69 points (29 goals, 40 assists) in 75 games last season, his third with Minnesota.

The Minnesota Wild have listed right winger Matt Boldy as week-to-week with a lower-body injury, a significant blow just days into training camp for a team that general manager Bill Guerin said is counting on better health to rebound from an injury-riddled 2023-24 season.

Forward Matt Boldy did not practice Monday and is considered week-to-week because of a lower-body injury. Boldy did not play in the Wild’s preseason opener Saturday at Winnipeg but did skate earlier in the day.

If Boldy isn't ready by the start of the season, this could be a huge loss for the Wild. As of now he is considered week-to-week with what they are calling a lower-body injury. That doesn't seem to be the case though.
