The mother of a Georgia teenager charged with fatally shooting four people at his high school has been indicted in connection with an alleged domestic incident last year.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation also arrested the teen's father, Colin Gray, on Sept. 5, and prosecutors have charged him with two counts of murder, four counts of involuntary manslaughter and eight counts of child cruelty.

Atlanta – Marcee Gray, the mother of the suspect in the Apalachee High School shooting, has been indicted in Ben Hill County, accused of taping her then-73-year-old mother to a chair, stealing her phone and damaging her home in November.

The indictment charging Marcee Gray stems from a domestic incident late last year, the Atlanta newspaper reported. It said a police incident report states Gray’s 74-year-old mother told authorities Nov. 4 that Gray had taken her phone, taped her to a chair and left her for nearly a full day.

The mother of accused Georgia high school shooter Colt Gray, was previously arrested on accusations of taping her elderly mother to a chair, stealing her phone and damaging her home, according to an incident report obtained by the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
